Joining S.H.I.E.L.D Ch.7

 Your heart was beating fast, your mind racing. You were rushing through the long hallways that seemed like it never ended, making turns here and there trying to find an exit. You couldn't stay here any longer and if you did, you would blow up along with everyone else inside the building. It's been 3 years since you left S.H.I.E.L.D to go to the training camp that Fury had ordered you to go to perfect your powers. Nobody could contact you since they took your phone away and made it a technology free camp. The camp was basically like boot camp where everyone was serious and very obedient. You were all well trained to the point where you wouldn't be able to show any emotions at all making you like robots. In the few years of being in this camp, you became like one of them. Being cold hearted and not being attached made it a lot easier to get the job done. You weren't the girl you used to be. You had grown a lot stronger and were now even stronger than Natasha.

     Your mission had been to hack into one of your enemies system and gather all of the information that they had stolen from the government. You also needed to gather new information that your enemies were planning against the government. This mission was a lot harder then you thought it would be. Along the way you had many obstacles but you passed through them easily. When you reached the central command room where everything was being held, you gathered everything into a USB stick. You then heard a command through your ear piece.

"Agent. (l/n) are you still there?" A male voice asked.

"Yes sir, mission is complete," You responded back.

There was a pause, and in the background you heard someone else whispering.

“Agent you must get out of there fast! The building is set to explode in 10 minutes, is that clear?!" The same male voice exclaimed.

“Yes sir!" You answered back.

You were still running through the hallways and armed men were running after you. Armed men turned around the corner in front of you blocking your way so you decided to turn back and run the other way. However, armed men were also behind you. You were breathing heavily trying to catch your breath looking both ways. You were completely surrounded by men with guns. Every one of them had their guns pointing at you. There was no way out and you only had 5 minutes left until this building blew up and you sure as hell didn’t want to get blown up without getting this mission done. One advantage you had was your powers and you were going to use it to its highest level. You suddenly threw every armed man against the wall making them unconscious. There were at least 30 men that you had to throw against the walls and that made you exhausted. You were used to using your power to its fullest but it took a lot of energy from you. Today was the last mission you had to do before going back to S.H.I.E.L.D. You knew that things wouldn’t be the same since your departure with Natasha and Clint. Three years could change a lot between friendships. It could either make it stronger or break it and you didn’t know which one would happen.

You had only a few seconds before the building would explode into a million pieces. Right after you had exited the building it exploded and sent you flying forward and landing roughly on the hard ground. Bricks were heading towards you so you made your force field surround you to prevent the bricks from hitting you.

“Agent, mission clear?” The male voice asked.

“No sir, mission is not clear,” You said with a hint of annoyance while getting up and dusting off.

“Agent. (l/n) this is the only time I will let you talk to me like that,” He responded with a monotone voice.

The only thing you still kept the same was your sassiness.
